Leith Hill Musical Festival Friday 12 April 2019

Singing on the second day of the 2019 Festival Dorking Choral Society joins choirs of the Green Division:(Bookham, Holmbury St. Mary, Mickleham) for this exciting programme:

Main work: Alan Bullard – Travelling Tales 

Main Work: Carl Orff – Carmina Burana 

Madrigal: Wilbye – Lady, when I behold 
Upper voices: David Willcocks – Who is Sylvia?
Lower voices: ‘In taberna’ (no.14 from Carmina Burana) 
Part song: Malcolm Archer – The River of the Water of Life
Ensemble: Andrew Carter – Two for the price of one 

This is a wonderful opportunity for choir members to take to the stage of the Dorking Halls to form a combined choir of some 250 voices, with a professional orchestra, under the expert leadership of Festival Conductor Jonathan Wilcocks.
