Dorking Choral Society

Welcome to the Dorking Choral Society Website.

Dorking Choral Society is an active, friendly and growing choir of about 80 voices .  We are not auditioned, but aspire to a high standard under our Conductor and Musical Director Timothy Ferguson.  We warmly welcome new (or returning) singers - all you need is a love of singing and a commitment to practicing for improvement.

Our singing year starts in September and runs until June, with weekly rehearsals which are held on Wednesday evenings, 7:30-9:30 pm at Crossways Community Baptist Church in Dorking.  We invite new singers to come along and try us, with no initial obligation.

Dorking Choral also offers a social programme open both to members and non-members, including social gatherings, musical evenings, and a tour.

Still got questions?  Take a look through the rest of the site to get a better understanding of what we are about, and if you have queries send them in to us using the 'Contact Us' tab. We look forward to hearing from you.

You can follow us on our Facebook page - but just at the moment we are offline as our page is being rebuilt. But do follow us on Instagram where you can see a great photo of Tim holding the trophy we won at the Leith Hill Musical Festival in April.
